We Feed the Need is a small team of community champions established of Hamilton restaurant and business owners as well as healthcare workers. It is our goal to be among the helpers in our community during this most challenging time.

We aim to support both the restaurant and healthcare industries and the people who work in them. We also will supply meals to vulnerable populations.

How We Feed the Need works

  • Community and corporate donations are collected through GoFundMe to support We Feed the Need
  • All proceeds from donations go directly to support our restaurant partners to buy supplies, employ staff, prepare meals that are individually packaged, and deliver them to recipient organizations. (Our team is purely the organizers in – there is no overhead or financial gain.)
  • Healthcare workers, frontline staff, first responders and essential workers who have tirelessly been working to care, protect and support us through this pandemic, are provided with a delicious meal from some of Hamilton’s top eateries.
  • Working with shelters and social services, we will also help to feed our most in-need populations.
